2GUD

2GUD was Flipkart's refurbished storefront and is now defunct: no API ever existed, the domain does not resolve, and sellers integrate through Flipkart.

2GUD was Flipkart's refurbished and open box storefront, launched in 2018 on its own domain and its own app, later repositioned as a value commerce destination for unbranded and certified refurbished goods. It never had a seller API of its own. Sellers reached it through their existing Flipkart seller account and Flipkart's seller systems, and the 2GUD assortment was a listing type inside that account rather than a separate channel with separate credentials. As of 2026-09-21 the storefront is gone: 2gud.com has no DNS A record, and the Internet Archive holds no capture of it after August 2022. This page exists so that a catalogue entry for 2GUD resolves to a clear "do not build this" rather than to a blank.

What it is

2GUD was a Flipkart Internet Private Limited property aimed at price sensitive buyers, initially selling certified refurbished electronics with a warranty, then broadening into value fashion and household goods. It was a storefront and a brand, not a separate legal marketplace: fulfilment, payments, returns and seller settlements all ran on Flipkart's infrastructure. Flipkart has since consolidated its value commerce efforts, and the refurbished assortment that 2GUD carried is reachable through Flipkart's own surfaces rather than a standalone site.

Evidence that it is discontinued

  • 2gud.com and www.2gud.com return no DNS A record on 2026-09-21. A curl against either fails at name resolution, not at HTTP.
  • The Internet Archive availability API returns no snapshot for 2gud.com at or near 2025-01-01. The most recent capture it will return is 20220829212849.
  • https://www.flipkart.com/2gud returns HTTP 404. Flipkart has not kept a redirect.
Note

Two independent signals agree here: the domain is not resolvable and the archive record stops in 2022. Treat any third party integration list that still names 2GUD as a supported channel as stale metadata rather than as evidence the channel is live.

API access

None. There was no 2GUD developer portal, no 2GUD credential console and no 2GUD API reference. A seller who sold on 2GUD did so with Flipkart seller credentials, and any programmatic work happened against Flipkart's Seller APIs.

Authentication

Not applicable. If you need the authentication model for the account that historically carried 2GUD listings, that is Flipkart's, and it is documented at /connectors/flipkart.

Objects we can read

None from 2GUD itself. Historic orders, listings, settlements and returns for the 2GUD assortment, for sellers who still have an active Flipkart account covering that period, are readable through Flipkart's Seller APIs and seller panel reports under the same seller identifier. There is no 2GUD specific object, no 2GUD channel field we can verify, and no published way to filter Flipkart data down to the 2GUD storefront after the fact.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not available. There is nothing to write to.

Mapping to the unified model

Do not create a 2gud channel value. If you are backfilling history and you can distinguish 2GUD orders inside Flipkart data, record them as orders.channel = flipkart with a storefront attribute in orders.raw rather than as a channel of their own, so that the settlement and return joins keep working against the Flipkart seller account they actually belong to.

Gaps and open questions

  • Whether Flipkart's data model ever carried a storefront or marketplace flag that distinguishes historic 2GUD orders from other Flipkart orders is unverified. If you need that split for historic analysis, it is a question for Flipkart seller support, not something an API reference will answer.
  • The exact date Flipkart wound the storefront down is not something we could confirm from a primary Flipkart source. The DNS and archive evidence bounds it, it does not date it.
  • Some aggregator marketing pages and channel lists may still carry a 2GUD logo. We found none that did on the pages we read, but stale lists are common.
