Cult.fit

cult.fit is a fitness operator, not a marketplace: its commerce arm Cult Store runs on Shopify Hydrogen, so the connector is the Shopify one.

cult.fit, operated by Curefit Healthcare, is India's largest fitness chain and app, combining gym and group class memberships under cultpass, a sports and play network, at home workouts, and a commerce arm selling its own fitness apparel, footwear and equipment. There is no marketplace here and no third party seller programme. The finding that matters for an integration is simpler and more useful than an absent API: cult.fit's storefront runs on Shopify, so if you are cult.fit, or you are working on cult.fit's behalf with its credentials, the connector you want is the Shopify one and everything about it is already documented at /connectors/shopify.

At a glance

What it is

cult.fit sells access, not goods, for most of its revenue. Its own site organises around cultpass, a membership tiered across single centre, PRO and ELITE gyms plus at home live workouts, and a sports arm covering badminton and other play formats. Alongside that sits a commerce business.

That commerce business has recently rebranded. www.cultsport.com now redirects, with a csredirect tracking parameter, to cultstore.com, which titles itself "Shop Online at Cult Store | India's Best Fitness & Fashion Store". Its assortment is men's and women's apparel, footwear across running, walking, training, casual, outdoor, sports, barefoot and recovery, an xtended plus size range, and equipment under the Avant line: treadmills, BLDC motor treadmills, walking pads, exercise bikes, rowers, ellipticals, home strength equipment, weights, massage chairs and massagers.

Everything in that catalogue is cult.fit's own brand. There is no third party seller on it.

The one actionable technical fact

cultstore.com returns the response header:

powered-by: Shopify, Hydrogen

Its HTML references cdn.shopify.com several hundred times and contains the store handle cult-demo.myshopify.com. So the Cult Store is a Shopify store using Hydrogen, Shopify's React based custom storefront framework, fronted by Cloudflare.

The practical consequences:

  • If you hold the store's credentials, every object in the unified model is available through Shopify's Admin API: orders, order items, products, variants, inventory levels by location, fulfilments and tracking, returns, and payouts through Shopify Payments where it is used. Pagination, rate limits, webhooks, bulk operations and the authentication model are all documented, and all of that is covered at /connectors/shopify. Nothing on this page adds to it.
  • If you do not hold the credentials, there is nothing. Shopify's Storefront API is public per store but requires a storefront access token that the merchant issues. The only outside view is crawling the public storefront, which for a Shopify store means the product JSON endpoints Shopify exposes on the theme, subject to the store's own robots and terms.
  • Hydrogen matters for scraping and for metrics. A Hydrogen storefront is server rendered React, so the product data in a page is not laid out the way a Liquid theme's is. If you were planning catalogue monitoring against a classic Shopify theme's conventions, expect them not to hold.
Note

This is the general lesson for brand owned commerce in this catalogue. When a brand has no marketplace and no seller programme, the useful question is not "does it have an API" but "what is it built on". A platform detection takes one request and usually converts an unanswerable connector question into an already solved one.

API access: partnership routes, and why none of them is a connector

business.cult.fit is cult.fit's business facing site. It offers four things, and it is worth being precise that none of them is a selling channel for a third party brand's goods:

  1. cult.fit Franchise. Own a cult centre, under Neo and Elite formats, each with its own brochure.
  2. cultpass Network. List your gym or studio in what cult.fit calls "the biggest gym and fitness network in India", so that cultpass members can use it. This is capacity supply, not goods supply.
  3. Corporate Partnerships. Employee memberships, live fitness classes at home, and access to doctors, therapists and nutritionists. The site claims 732 companies registered as of 2026-09-21. This is a B2B sales motion with a lead form, not an integration.
  4. cult.sport equipment. cult.fit positions itself as "your complete gym equipment solutions partner", which is cult.fit selling its own equipment to gyms, not buying yours.

www.cult.fit/partner returns HTTP 301 to partner.cult.fit, which returns HTTP 403. So a partner portal exists and is closed. www.cult.fit/sell and /partner-with-us return genuine HTTP 404s; the host does serve real 404s, so those are true absences.

Authentication

Not applicable to cult.fit. For the Shopify store, see /connectors/shopify: a custom app with an Admin API access token for a single store, or OAuth for a public app installed across stores.

Objects we can read

Through Shopify, with credentials, all of them. Without credentials, none. cult.fit itself publishes no object, no endpoint and no report.

Two cult.fit specific notes for anyone modelling the store:

  • Memberships are not products in the commerce store. cultpass sales run through cult.fit's own app and systems, not through the Shopify store. If you are building a revenue picture, the Shopify data covers goods only and will understate the business substantially.
  • Equipment sales have a service tail. Treadmills and massage chairs carry installation and warranty obligations that do not appear in a Shopify order. Expect a separate service record that has no home in the unified model.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Through Shopify, with credentials. Shopify supports single product and variant updates, inventory level adjustments per location, and bulk operations for large catalogue changes. There is no cult.fit specific route and no reason to want one.

Webhooks and notifications

Shopify's. cult.fit publishes none of its own.

Rate limits and pagination

Shopify's. See /connectors/shopify.

Mapping to the unified model

Map as a Shopify store. The only cult.fit specific decisions:

Gaps and open questions

  • Whether cult.fit sells its goods through any third party marketplace, which would be a separate channel, is unverified. Its own storefront is the only channel we examined.
  • Whether cult centres act as Shopify fulfilment locations or as a separate store network is unverified.
  • What lies behind partner.cult.fit is unverified. It returns HTTP 403 and is presumably the cultpass network or franchise portal.
  • Whether the cultsport.com to cultstore.com move is a full rebrand or a temporary redirect is unverified. Treat the domain as unstable and key your records on the myshopify handle rather than on the customer facing domain.
  • The payment gateway behind the store was not established, which determines where settlement data comes from.
  • No aggregator we could check lists cult.fit as a channel, including Unicommerce's public integration list.
