Kirana Club

Kirana Club is an Indian B2B retailer marketplace with a real self-serve seller panel at supplier.kirana.club, Excel catalogue upload and weekly payouts, but no published seller API.

Kirana Club is a business-to-business marketplace that sells to India's kirana stores. Brands, manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers list on it; shopkeepers order through the Kirana Club app; Kirana Club generates the demand, arranges pickup and delivery, collects the money including cash on delivery, and pays the seller weekly. It is a genuine sales channel, unlike several other entries in this catalogue, with a working self-serve seller panel and published commercial terms. What it does not have is a published API. Catalogue goes in one product at a time or by Excel sheet, orders come out through a dashboard, and no aggregator lists it.

At a glance

What it is

Kirana Club describes itself as "India's largest Kirana network" and as "India's #1 B2B Marketplace", providing "Community, commerce, and distribution infrastructure for 40L+ Kiranas and FMCG brands". Its published numbers as of 2026-09-22 are 40 lakh or more retailers on the app, 16,000 or more pincodes served, 5,300 or more cities and towns, and 1,200 or more sellers on board. It claims 15 lakh or more of its shops are in small towns and villages, and that 43 percent of its shops are in small towns and villages, with the heaviest concentration in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The company runs three things at once, and only the first is a channel:

  1. A community app for kirana owners, where they discuss sourcing and inventory, track mandi bhav and news, and compare schemes and margins. This is the demand-generation layer.
  2. A D2R marketplace, direct to retailer, where brands sell into that network. Kirana Club calls this "New: B2B marketplace" on its own site, so it is the newer of the two.
  3. Brand activation and market insights, sold as campaigns: trade scheme communication, product launch campaigns, retailer influencer amplification, geo and category targeting, plus pricing, margin and competitor intelligence.

The proposition to a brand is explicit: "Sell all over India without setting up distribution. Everything a distributor does, finding shops, taking orders, delivering, collecting money, done for you. No field staff, no transport, no udhaar to recover." Sellers named on the site include Suruchi Spices, Bakemate and Zoff Foods.

Note

The seller is not only a brand owner. Kirana Club's own FAQ states "Brand owners, manufacturers, distributors, stockists and wholesalers all sell on Kirana Club. If you have stock and a GST number, you can list it, you don't need to own the brand." That changes the data model: the same GTIN may be listed by several unrelated sellers at different rates, so listing_id and sku must not be assumed to identify a brand.

API access

None published. Checked on 2026-09-22:

  • api.kirana.club and docs.kirana.club do not resolve.
  • kiranaclub.in serves a 114 byte parking stub that redirects to /lander, and kiranaclub.com is listed for sale on domains.atom.com. Neither is the company. The live domains are kirana.club and kiranaclub.app, which serve the same site.
  • supplier.kirana.club is the seller panel, with a marketing landing page, /onboarding and /login. Both application pages are client-rendered, so their form fields could not be read without a browser.
  • The Android app is club.kirana on Google Play. It is the retailer-facing app, not a seller tool.
  • Kirana Club appears in neither EasyEcom's public knowledge base nor Unicommerce's integrations directory, and no SDK, Postman collection or public repository referencing a Kirana Club seller API was found.

Nowhere on the seller site is an API, integration, ERP connection or inventory sync mentioned. The bulk mechanism it does name is an Excel sheet: "add your products one by one, or all together in an Excel sheet". For a marketplace of this size that is a genuine constraint, and it is the right thing to raise with brands@kirana.club if you have a large or fast-moving catalogue.

Authentication

Seller panel only, at supplier.kirana.club/login. No API credential, token or key of any kind is published.

Onboarding is self-serve and the requirements are stated plainly: "A GST number, a PAN, a bank account in your business name, and one pickup address. That's all. Registration is online and takes about 15 minutes." Verification is described as instant, with product checking taking about two working days, and most sellers live within a week.

Objects we can read

Through the seller dashboard, on screen. No export format or API is published, so no sample responses can be given.

Orders

Live in the dashboard, with "New orders, packing labels and dispatch status, all in one place". The panel screenshot on the seller page shows weekly order counts, sales value and next payout. Orders arrive with a shop name, a town and state, an order value and an item count, for example "S Sharma Kirana Store, Ballia, UP, ₹2,340, 12 items".

Order items

Item counts are visible per order and a packing list is printable, so line detail exists in the panel.

Products and listings

Seller managed. Listings carry MRP, category and the seller's own rate, with the shopkeeper-facing margin derived from the difference. Kirana Club's example is an MRP of ₹60 against a seller rate of ₹12 for a 60 piece pack of aam papad slices in the snacks category, with the note "change the rate and see what the shopkeeper sees".

Inventory

Listed in the dashboard's feature set as "Orders, stock, payments and reports, updated live". Stock is therefore a panel field, but no format or mechanism is published.

Shipments and tracking

Kirana Club's delivery partners pick up from the seller's godown. The seller prints a label from the dashboard and packs; the stages shown are picked up, in transit, delivered to shop. The carrier is not named and there is no indication that carrier-level tracking events reach the seller.

Returns and cancellations

Not described anywhere on the seller site. For a cash-on-delivery B2B channel this is a significant silence and should be asked about directly.

Payments and settlements

The strongest documented area. "We collect from the shop, whether they pay cash on delivery or online, and send it to your bank on a 7-day cycle with a full order-wise statement." The dashboard shows "Every payment broken down order by order, easy to check against your books", with the next payout amount and date.

Customers

The customer is a kirana store. Shop name and town appear on orders. Nothing indicates full addresses or contact details reach the seller, which is normal for a marketplace that owns the delivery.

Locations

One pickup address at registration. Whether multiple godowns are supported is not stated.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Through the seller panel, and this is where the absence of an API bites most.

Two commercial points that affect how you list rather than how you integrate:

  • There is no exclusivity. "Keep selling through your dealers, other apps and your own shop exactly as you do today."
  • Kirana Club explicitly suggests listing a different pack size here to avoid channel conflict with existing distributors: "Many list a separate pack size here to keep both sides clean." If you do that, the Kirana Club SKU will not match your other channels' SKUs, and your product master needs to handle that deliberately rather than by accident.

Webhooks and notifications

Not published. With no API there is nothing to subscribe to. Sellers are notified in the panel and, presumably, by message. Practical cadence for a seller operating manually: check the panel at least daily, and more often if your order volume is meaningful, since pickup is scheduled against your packing.

Rate limits and pagination

Not applicable. No public API, so no quota, headers or pagination model.

Commercial terms

Quoted as of 2026-09-22, because these drift:

Mapping to the unified model

No published schema, so field names cannot be given. The structural mapping is clear enough to plan against:

Gaps and open questions

  • Whether a seller API exists privately. A marketplace with 1,200 sellers and national delivery almost certainly has larger sellers asking for one. Nothing is published. brands@kirana.club is the address to ask.
  • What the Excel catalogue template looks like. Column names, required fields and how updates versus creates are distinguished. This is behind the login and is the single most useful artefact for anyone building a loader.
  • Returns and rejections. Completely undescribed. In a cash-on-delivery B2B channel, shop refusal at the door is a real failure mode and someone bears the cost.
  • Whether multiple pickup locations are supported. Registration asks for "one pickup address", which suggests not.
  • Whether stock is a hard reservation. If the panel's stock field does not block overselling, the operational risk sits with the seller.
  • Whether the marketplace and the activation business share data. The insights product implies Kirana Club sees retailer-level demand signals. Whether a seller can buy insights on their own listings, and in what form, is not stated.
  • The kiranaclub.in and kiranaclub.com domains. Both are parked or for sale while the company trades on kirana.club. Worth knowing so nobody researches the wrong site, as happened during the first pass of this research.
