Patanjali

Patanjali is a brand and manufacturer, not a channel. No seller or vendor API; distributor and supplier onboarding is downloadable forms, postal submission and an online profile upload.

Patanjali Ayurved is one of India's largest home-grown FMCG businesses, selling ayurvedic medicines, foods, personal care and home care under the Patanjali and Divya brands. For a connector the classification is unambiguous: Patanjali is a manufacturer and brand owner with its own direct-to-consumer storefront, not a marketplace. There are no third-party sellers, no seller panel and no API of any kind. Becoming a supplier or a distributor is a paper process: downloadable forms, a postal address in Haridwar, and an online company profile upload. The two useful facts for an integrator are that the storefront is a custom application with clean, stable URL patterns, and that everything upstream of it is offline.

At a glance

What it is

Patanjali runs two distinct web properties and they serve different purposes.

patanjaliayurved.org is the corporate site, a WordPress installation. Its navigation is Overview, Products, Media Room, Buy Now, Download, Contact, Stores, Directors and SSC. Its Download section is where the commercial relationships live, as individual HTML pages and forms:

Its store network is published as Mega stores, Patanjali Chikitsalay clinics, Patanjali Arogyakendra wellness centres and Gramin Arogya Kendra rural health centres, with a megastore list page and a separate store directory at patanjalistores.patanjaliayurved.org.

patanjaliayurved.net is the consumer storefront. It is a custom application, not Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce or any recognisable commerce platform, with a category tree at /category/<slug>/<id>, products at /product/<category>/<subcategory>/<slug>/<id>, a pincode serviceability check at /pincode, a store locator, a customer login and a checkout. Categories span digestives, health and wellness, chyawanprash, ghee, honey, health drinks, spices, tea, flours, dal and pulses, rice, noodles, edible oil, namkeen, sweets and more, plus combo offers and a "bulk deals" section carrying case packs such as a hawan samagri carton of twelve pieces.

The storefront's customer care address is customercare@orderme.co.in, and its mobile apps are branded "Patanjali Order Me" with the Android package com.bharuwa.orderme. Both point at Bharuwa as the technology vendor behind Patanjali's ordering platform, and orderme.co.in itself returns HTTP 403 to unauthenticated clients, which is consistent with an ordering system rather than a public site.

Note

The presence of a "bulk deals" section on the consumer storefront, selling cartons of twelve or fifty units, is the closest thing Patanjali offers to a self-serve B2B lane. It is still a consumer checkout: no GST-registered buyer flow, no credit terms, no distributor pricing. A retailer wanting real trade terms goes through the distributorship forms, not through the website.

API access

None. As of 2026-09-22:

  • Neither domain has a developer, API, integration or partner-technology page anywhere in its navigation, footer or sitemap.
  • distributor.patanjaliayurved.net and api.orderme.co.in do not resolve.
  • orderme.co.in resolves and returns HTTP 403 Forbidden with a plain 403 Forbidden page. It is the ordering platform's host and is not open.
  • Patanjali appears in Unicommerce's integrations directory as neither a channel nor an ERP.

The supplier route is explicitly offline. The vendor and suppliers portal page offers an "Online Vendor Registration" link and, as an alternative, postal submission to "Sanjay Kumar Dubey, Vice President - Procurement (Corporate), Patanjali Food & Herbal park, Vill - Padartha, Laksar Road, Haridwar 249404". It also carries the warning "We do not charge any registration amount, Please avoid online transaction of money", which tells you how much distributorship fraud exists around the brand. The page makes no mention of EDI, SAP, ASN, purchase order exchange or any electronic integration.

That absence is worth stating precisely rather than assuming. A manufacturer of Patanjali's scale certainly runs an ERP and certainly exchanges documents with its large trade customers. None of that is published, none of it is self-serve, and the only public door is a form.

Authentication

Not applicable. The storefront has consumer accounts at /customer/login. There is no partner, vendor or developer credential of any kind.

Objects we can read

None through a documented interface. What is readable is web content, and the URL structure is regular enough to be worth recording:

No sample responses can be given, because no response contract is published. If you need Patanjali catalogue data, the practical source is either the storefront's own pages, read within its terms of use, or a marketplace where Patanjali products are listed, in which case use that marketplace's API rather than Patanjali's absent one.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not available, and not meaningful. Patanjali sells only Patanjali and Divya products, which it manufactures. There is no listing surface for an outside party and no catalogue upload.

The manual routes, in order of how close they get to a data relationship:

  1. Bulk sales distributorship, via the form at /distributorbulksales.html. This is the trade route.
  2. Rural retail and salt distributor, narrower regional programmes with their own forms.
  3. Vendor and supplier registration, for selling raw materials, packaging or services into Patanjali. Online profile upload or post to Haridwar.
  4. Contract herbal farming, for growing inputs.

None of the four produces an API, a portal login that has been published, or a file specification.

Webhooks and notifications

None. Nothing to subscribe to and nothing to poll.

Rate limits and pagination

Not applicable. If you read the storefront's public pages, the applicable constraint is the site's terms of use and ordinary politeness, not a published quota.

Mapping to the unified model

Patanjali exposes no machine-readable objects, so no field-level mapping can be given honestly. Two notes:

If Patanjali matters to you as a channel, the realistic answer is that it is a supplier relationship whose data lives in your own purchasing system, and that any Patanjali product data you need comes from the marketplaces it sells through, not from Patanjali.

Gaps and open questions

  • Whether a distributor portal exists behind a login. Almost certainly yes, given the scale of the trade network and the existence of orderme.co.in, but nothing is published and the host returns 403. This is the single question worth asking a Patanjali distributor directly.
  • What the "Order Me" platform is. The com.bharuwa.orderme package and the orderme.co.in customer care address suggest a Bharuwa-built ordering system serving both consumer and trade. If it has a trade side, that is the real integration surface.
  • Whether Patanjali exchanges EDI with modern trade. Large Indian FMCG suppliers typically do with organised retail chains. Nothing public says whether Patanjali does, and it would be a bilateral arrangement in any case.
  • Patanjali Foods Ltd versus Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. The group has a listed entity and an unlisted one with overlapping brands and distribution. Which entity a given product line sells through affects who you contract with, and it is not clear from the websites.
  • Whether the bulk deals lane has trade terms. It reads as a consumer checkout selling cases. Whether GST input credit, credit terms or distributor pricing apply was not verified.
