Indiazona is an Indian online marketplace positioned around domestically made products, trading under the tagline "Bharat Ki Apni Dukaan" and the promise "Shop Truly Indian Products". It sells across beauty, fashion, food, handicrafts, utilities and electronics, sourced from Indian sellers rather than held as first-party stock. A separate seller portal exists at seller.indiazona.in, which confirms there is a real seller programme. Nothing about it is documented publicly: no developer portal, no API reference, no help centre and no aggregator connector.
At a glance
What it is
Indiazona runs at indiazona.in. The indiazona.com domain is in use too and its sitemap redirects to the .in property, so treat .in as canonical and expect .com links in the wild.
The published sitemap gives a clear picture of scale and shape. Top-level pages are a homepage, an about page and a top deals page. Categories are beauty, fashion, dukan, superfoods, utilities and handicrafts, with a second, numbered category scheme underneath at /type/category/<name>/<id> covering beauty and personal care, fashion and apparel, food and grocery, electronics and others. Products sit at /type/item/<slug>/<id>, and the sitemap lists hundreds of them across lipstick, perfume, saris, jewellery, tea, garden tools, footwear and handmade goods.
That is a young, modest marketplace with a long-tail artisan and small-business assortment, not a large platform. Product images are served from a DigitalOcean Spaces bucket in the Bangalore region, which is consistent with a small in-house engineering build rather than a platform with a partner ecosystem.
API access
No public developer portal, API reference, SDK, Postman collection or sandbox exists. Indiazona does not appear in Unicommerce's published channel catalogue, and no connector for it was found at any Indian order management aggregator.
The one hard finding is that seller.indiazona.in resolves and serves a distinct application, titled "Indiazona | Bharatki Apni Dukan", separate from the shopper site's title. That is the seller portal. Its contents could not be read: like the rest of the property it is a client-rendered single page application that returns an empty shell with only a title to a non-browser fetcher, and every path tried on the main site returned the same shell, including the about page and guessed seller registration paths.
So the honest position for 2026-09-21 is: a seller programme exists, its terms are unpublished, and any integration conversation has to start by asking Indiazona's team directly whether the seller portal is backed by an API a seller can be given a key to.
A client-rendered seller portal is usually backed by an internal JSON API that the portal's own JavaScript calls. That is not a public interface, it carries no compatibility promise, and using it without written permission is a poor foundation for a connector. Ask for documented access rather than reverse engineering the portal, and if Indiazona has no documented access, expect to negotiate a CSV or spreadsheet exchange instead.
Authentication
Not published. Seller portal access is presumably a username and password or a phone-based one-time password, which is the Indian norm, but no login flow was observable and nothing is asserted here.
Objects we can read
Nothing through a documented interface. The objects a seller programme of this shape must hold internally, and therefore the list to ask about:
- Orders and order items, with an Indiazona order identifier and per-item status.
- Listings, with an Indiazona product identifier, price, MRP and status. The public product identifier is visible in the URL pattern
/type/item/<slug>/<id>, so the numeric product id is at least externally addressable. - Inventory per SKU.
- Shipments, since a marketplace this size will rely on aggregated carriers rather than its own network.
- Returns and settlements.
No schema, sample response or field name is published, so none is reproduced.
Writing back: listings, price and stock
Through the seller portal, manually. Whether the portal offers a bulk upload template, and in what format, is unverified. There is no documented API, feed or job mechanism.
Webhooks and notifications
None published. Without an API there is nothing to subscribe to, and the operational notification channel is whatever the portal and email provide.
Rate limits and pagination
Not applicable.
Mapping to the unified model
Provisional. Platform field names are left blank rather than guessed.
Gaps and open questions
- The entire property is client rendered, so no page content beyond titles could be read. Everything here comes from the sitemap, from host resolution and from URL structure. Re-fetch with a browser-based client.
- Who operates Indiazona, the legal entity and any government or industry body affiliation behind the "Bharat Ki Apni Dukaan" positioning, is unverified.
- Commission, fees, payment cycle and returns policy are unpublished.
- Whether the seller portal offers any export or bulk upload is unverified and is the first question to ask.
- Whether the two category schemes seen in the sitemap (
/categories/<name>and/type/category/<name>/<id>) are a live migration or two parallel taxonomies matters for catalogue mapping and is unresolved. - Web search was unavailable for this page, so no news, funding or ownership coverage was reviewed.
