Kartify

Kartify was ANS Commerce's managed D2C brandstore platform, never had a public API, and all three of its web properties are dead or parked as of 2026-09-22.

Kartify is not a self-serve store builder and should not be treated as one. It was the proprietary brandstore platform of ANS Commerce, a Gurugram full-stack ecommerce services company that built and ran D2C sites for established Indian brands and bundled performance marketing, marketplace management and warehousing around them. Kartify was sold as part of that service, never as a product a merchant signs up for alone, and it never had a developer portal, an API reference or an app store. As of 2026-09-22 the whole thing looks wound down: anscommerce.com returns HTTP 520, gokartify.com redirects to a password-locked Shopify store, and flipshop.co, the domain the later product lineup pointed at, now serves a bare Streamlit app. This page exists so the catalogue entry resolves to a clear finding rather than a blank.

At a glance

What it is

ANS Commerce described Kartify as a "Kartify Brandstore: fully customizable, integration-ready proprietary platform to power your brandstore". It was D2C only: one brand, one site, the brand's own orders, no shared marketplace demand. The client list on its own marketing pages in 2022 was mid to large Indian and international brands rather than small merchants, including Bestseller labels (Vero Moda, Jack and Jones, Only, Selected), celio, Spykar, Khadim's, KKCL, CEAT, Century Ply, ITC, Lakme, Nivea, Mars, OZiva, Royal Canin, Sunglass Hut, Aldo and GoMechanic. A quoted Bestseller India testimonial refers to "initial website migration to Kartify platform", which is the shape of the engagement: ANS migrated you onto its platform and then ran it.

By the May 2025 capture of the ANS site the product lineup had been renamed and split into three: "Flipshop", pitched as "Create your free website just in 30 seconds"; "Kartapult", an "Automated performance marketing tool"; and "Kartify(Flipshop Enterprise)", "Build your custom website". The word API appears nowhere on that page.

Note

ANS Commerce was widely reported to have been acquired by Flipkart in 2022, and the Flipshop and Kartapult naming is consistent with that. We could not confirm the acquisition or any shutdown announcement from a primary source reachable on 2026-09-22, so treat the ownership line as unverified rather than as fact.

Evidence on current status

  • https://www.anscommerce.com/ returns HTTP 520 on 2026-09-22. DNS resolves to Cloudflare addresses, so the name is still registered and proxied, but the origin is not answering.
  • https://www.gokartify.com/ and https://gokartify.com/ both 301 to https://gokartify.com/password. That page is a Shopify storefront password gate, titled "GoKartify". A brandstore platform whose own marketing domain now sits behind a Shopify password page is not an operating platform.
  • https://www.flipshop.co/ returns a page titled "Streamlit" with the body "You need to enable JavaScript to run this app". That is a data app framework, not a product site.
  • The Internet Archive has no capture of anscommerce.com around mid 2024, and the captures either side, in December 2023 and March and May 2025, show a site being reworked rather than one being maintained.
  • kartify.in, kartify.com, kartify.co and kartify.io are unrelated: kartify.in archived as a default nginx welcome page, kartify.co is an unavailable Shopify store, and kartify.io redirects to a Shopify app listing for a different product.

API access

None. Across the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025 captures of the ANS Commerce site, including the dedicated Kartify page, the word API does not appear once outside third party logo names. The Kartify page itself in the January 2022 capture was an unfinished template carrying placeholder copy, which tells you how much of a self-serve product it was meant to be.

What ANS did publish was an integration grid, grouped as Delivery, Engagement, OMS and Omni, Payment and COD, and Others. Read it as the list of systems the ANS team wired up on the client's behalf:

Authentication

Not applicable. There is no credential to obtain.

Objects we can read

Nothing from Kartify itself. For a brand that ran on Kartify, the practical data sources were, and for any still-running instance still are:

  1. The connected order management system. Unicommerce, Fynd, Arvind Internet or SAP appear on the integration grid. All of those have their own documented interfaces, and orders, inventory and shipments for a Kartify brandstore landed there. That is where a connector should point.
  2. The carrier. Shipment and tracking data came from Blue Dart, Delhivery, Ecom Express, FedEx, iThink, Shiprocket or Xpressbees directly.
  3. The payment gateway. Settlement data came from Razorpay, CCAvenue, Cashfree, Paytm or PayPal, not from Kartify.
  4. The storefront itself, as an ordinary crawl, for catalogue and price only.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not available. There is no documented write path into Kartify. Catalogue, price and stock were maintained either by the ANS Commerce team in the admin panel or pushed in from the connected order management system. If you meet a brand still on a Kartify brandstore, write to the order management system and let it propagate.

Webhooks and notifications

None published. Nothing to subscribe to, and no public endpoint to poll.

Rate limits and pagination

Not applicable.

Mapping to the unified model

Do not create a kartify channel. A Kartify brandstore is the brand's own D2C site: record those orders under the brand's own storefront channel and put the platform name in orders.raw if you need to keep it. Every unified table is better filled from the order management system, the carrier and the payment gateway, each of which has its own connector page.

Recommendation for the catalogue

Correct or retire this entry. Kartify is not an integration target: it is a managed platform with no public interface, whose vendor's web presence is dead. If the entry exists because a brand in the database runs on it, replace the connector with whichever order management system that brand uses. If it exists because the name was scraped from a platform list, retire it.

Gaps and open questions

  • The exact ownership chain and any formal shutdown date are unverified. No primary source stating either was reachable on 2026-09-22.
  • Whether any Kartify brandstores are still live and serving traffic under client domains could not be determined without a list of client domains to check.
  • Whether "Flipshop Enterprise" is a rebuild or the same codebase under a new name is unknown, and flipshop.co no longer hosts a product site to check against.
  • Whether ANS ever gave enterprise clients a private API under contract is unknown. Nothing public says so either way.
