VerIFast

Verifast is an Indian AI sales agent for Shopify D2C stores, not a carrier: it reads orders and tracking via Shopify and Shiprocket, and publishes no API.

Verifast, at verifast.ai, sells an AI agent that sits on a D2C store and its messaging channels: it answers product questions, recommends, recovers carts, captures leads, hands over to a human agent, and answers "where is my order" by reading live delivery status. It is catalogued here among shipping and logistics tools, and that is a miscategorisation worth correcting: Verifast carries nothing. It is a Shopify app that consumes order and shipment data from Shopify and from logistics platforms such as Shiprocket and ClickPost. There is no public Verifast API, no developer portal and no documented webhook, so as a data source it is a dead end. What it is useful for is the other direction, as a system that already holds normalised conversation and order-status data about a seller's customers.

At a glance

Warning

Three unrelated companies use the name Verifast. verifast.ai is the Indian e-commerce AI agent described here. verifast.com is a North American tenant screening and income verification company. verifast.in is an Indian police passport verification cell. Only the first is this connector. Check the domain before acting on any search result.

What it is

An Indian conversational commerce vendor selling to D2C brands. The Shopify listing gives a launch date of 2023-12-11 and 130 reviews at 4.9 stars as of 2026-09-22. The company claims 1,000 plus brands and over 100 million conversations, with headline results of 20 percent conversion uplift, 33 percent higher order value, 91 percent of support queries closed and 50 percent CSAT improvement. Those are vendor figures, unverified.

Named verticals are health and nutrition, personal care, fashion, ayurveda, food and beverage, fragrance and intimate care, which is the standard Indian D2C mix. Channels covered are the store website, mobile app, email, WhatsApp and Instagram. Shopify is the primary integration; for non-Shopify stores the product falls back on crawling the storefront.

It is not a marketplace, not a carrier and not an aggregator. In the unified model it holds no object of record.

API access

There is no public API. The site has no developer section, no reference, no SDK and no Postman collection, and none of the conventional hostnames exist:

The only documented way in is the Shopify App Store listing, apps.shopify.com/verifast-sales-assistant. Installation is the ordinary Shopify app grant, and everything Verifast reads about a store it reads through Shopify's own APIs under the scopes the merchant approves at install.

Pricing, read 2026-09-22, and the two published sources disagree, which is worth noting before anyone quotes a number:

Both offer a 7 day trial. "CRM and shipping integrations" appear at the Scale tier, and "custom feature development and custom integrations" only at Enterprise. If a machine interface is needed, that Enterprise line is the conversation to have, and it will be a bespoke build rather than a published product.

Authentication

Not published for Verifast's own surface. The install path is Shopify's app OAuth, so the token that matters belongs to Shopify and lives against the merchant's shop domain. See /connectors/shopify for that sequence, which is fully documented on Shopify's side.

No Verifast token endpoint, API key format, signing scheme or lifetime is described anywhere in public material, and there is no host to exercise one against. Nothing can honestly be written here as a code sample.

Objects we can read

Nothing can be read from Verifast. What follows records what Verifast itself reads, because that defines the blast surface of installing it and tells you where the same data can be read directly instead.

Orders and order items

Read from Shopify. The Shopify App Store data access disclosure lists orders and checkout information among the store data Verifast accesses. The agent verifies an order id in conversation and answers status questions from it. Read orders from the Shopify connector, not from here.

Products and listings

Read from Shopify, listed as products in the data access disclosure, plus store pages and custom metadata. For non-Shopify stores Verifast crawls the storefront instead, so its product knowledge there is scraped rather than structured.

Inventory

Read from Shopify. Inventory is named in the data access disclosure, which is how the agent avoids recommending out of stock items.

Shipments and tracking

This is the only logistics-shaped capability, and it is entirely second-hand. Verifast's own order updates page states: "Integrate with Shiprocket, ClickPost, or other logistics systems for real-time updates". Fulfilment data is also named in the Shopify data access list, so tracking numbers reach it through Shopify fulfilments as well.

There is no scan event history, no normalised status vocabulary and no proof of delivery exposed by Verifast. For shipment data go to the source: /connectors/shiprocket or /connectors/clickpost.

Returns and cancellations

The agent can initiate returns and cancellations in conversation, validated against the store's own policy, and can amend a shipping address, phone number or delivery instruction. Those are actions taken against the store and the logistics platform, not objects Verifast publishes.

Payments and settlements

None. Verifast handles no money.

Customers

Verifast holds a lot of it and none of it is exposed to you. The Shopify listing's data access disclosure names, verbatim, "Sensitive data: Name, email address, phone number, physical address" and "Device and activity data: Geolocation, IP address, browser and operating system, browsing behavior, client ID cookie", plus store owner and contributor contact details. All PII. That disclosure is the single most useful thing on the listing and should be read before recommending an install.

Locations

A Store Locator feature exists as a chatbot flow. No location interface is published.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not applicable, this is a carrier catalogue entry that is not in fact a carrier, and it is not a sales channel either. Verifast does not write listings, prices or stock anywhere.

For completeness, the write-shaped actions Verifast performs are conversational: create a lead, recover a cart, amend a shipping address or phone number on an order, initiate a return or a cancellation, and hand a conversation to a human agent. None of them is exposed as a documented endpoint.

Webhooks and notifications

Not published. Verifast consumes Shopify webhooks as an installed app and pushes customer details into a CRM such as Salesforce, which is an outbound integration it configures, not one you can subscribe to.

If conversation or lead data is genuinely needed downstream, the only stated routes are the CRM push and the Enterprise custom integration line. Neither is documented.

Rate limits and pagination

Not applicable to a data pipeline, because there is no interface to pull from. The commercial limit that does bite is the conversation quota per tier: 200 per month free, 500 on Starter, 2,000 on Growth, 5,000 on Scale, unlimited on Enterprise, with overage priced at 0.05 dollars per chat on the Shopify listing's Starter plan. Read 2026-09-22.

Mapping to the unified model

Nothing maps. Verifast is not a system of record for any unified table. The table below records where the data it displays actually comes from, which is the useful conclusion.

Gaps and open questions

  • Whether an Enterprise contract can produce a real API, and what it would expose, is unknown. The word "custom integrations" on the pricing page is the only hook.
  • Whether Verifast stores conversation transcripts in a form a seller can export is not documented.
  • The published pricing on verifast.ai and on the Shopify App Store listing do not agree, either on tier names or on amounts. One of the two is stale. Quote neither without checking.
  • The vendor metrics, 1,000 plus brands and 100 million conversations, have no independent corroboration.
  • Recommendation: recategorise this entry. It belongs with conversational commerce and customer support tools, not with carriers. As a connector it is low value, because everything it shows is readable upstream at higher fidelity.
