BytePe sells phones, wearables and consumer electronics on a subscription, under the line "India's 1st Phone Subscription Platform" and the promise of a "New Phone Every Year". It is operated by GoLuxea Internet Services Private Limited. For a connector the important classification is that BytePe is a single-operator storefront, not a marketplace: it buys or leases devices and rents them to consumers, and there is no third-party seller to hold an account. There is no seller API, no seller panel, no developer portal and no aggregator support. If BytePe is a channel for you at all, it is a wholesale customer.
At a glance
What it is
GoLuxea Internet Services Private Limited, CIN U47912KA2025PTC200855, trades as BytePe at bytepe.com. The CIN decodes to a Karnataka private limited company incorporated in 2025 under NIC class 47912, retail sale via mail order houses or the internet. Contact is care@bytepe.com and +91 80659 18016.
The proposition is device subscription rather than purchase: a consumer subscribes to a phone and upgrades annually. Alongside it BytePe runs an "EMI Store", so the same catalogue is available on instalments as well as on subscription. Categories listed on the site are Mobile, Audio, Accessories, Luggage, Wearables, Sports, Appliances and Electronics.
Its site navigation is Home, Subscription, EMI Store, Products, About Us, Cart and Login, with a footer of About Us, Grievance Redressal, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Blogs, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Payments and FAQs. That is the navigation of a direct to consumer store. There is no "Sell on BytePe", no "Partner with us" and no vendor page anywhere in it.
Subscription and rental change what an "order" means, and that matters more here than the missing API. A BytePe order is a recurring contract against a specific physical device, with a return at the end of the term and a residual value. The unified model's orders table, which assumes a one-time sale, does not describe it. If BytePe ever becomes a real channel, model it as a subscription with a device serial, not as a sale.
API access
None public. Checked on 2026-09-21 and 2026-09-22:
docs.bytepe.com,developer.bytepe.com,merchant.bytepe.com,bytepe.io,bytepe.coandbytepe.appdo not resolve.bytepe.inandbytepe.co.inboth resolve to the same address and serve an identical 114 byte body that redirects to/lander, the signature of a parked or defensively registered domain. Neither is the live site.api.bytepe.comresolves behind Google Cloud load balancing and returns HTTP 403 with a short HTML body and a full set of security headers, including apermissions-policythat allowspayment=(self)andcamera=(self). It is the storefront's own backend. Nothing about it is documented, versioned publicly or offered as a contract.- The storefront is a custom Next.js application, not Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento, with PayU and Razorpay as payment gateways. Product pages follow
/pd/<slug>/<sku>, for example/pd/fitbit-versa-4-fitness-watch/FITSMSM, and category pages use UUID parameters. A custom build with no commerce platform underneath means no platform-standard app or API to piggyback on. - BytePe appears in neither EasyEcom's public knowledge base nor Unicommerce's integrations directory.
Authentication
Not published. The only login is the consumer account on the storefront.
Objects we can read
None through a documented interface.
No sample responses can be given, because no response contract is published.
Writing back: listings, price and stock
Not available. BytePe merchandises its own catalogue and there is no seller onboarding, no bulk upload template and no feed specification. A brand that wants its devices in BytePe's assortment does so by selling or consigning to GoLuxea commercially, and at that point the interface is a purchase order and an email, not an API.
Webhooks and notifications
None. Nothing to subscribe to and nothing to poll.
Rate limits and pagination
Not applicable.
Mapping to the unified model
No public schema exists, so no field mapping can be given honestly. Two structural notes for whenever this is revisited:
Gaps and open questions
- Whether GoLuxea buys devices outright, leases them from a financier, or consigns from brands. This decides whether BytePe is ever a channel for a brand or only a customer.
- Whether a partner or supply programme exists that is simply not on the website. For a company incorporated in 2025 this is plausible, and a direct email to
care@bytepe.comwould settle it faster than more research. - What
api.bytepe.comserves. It is the storefront backend and is not offered publicly, so this is a question of curiosity rather than of integration. - Whether the EMI Store carries third-party sellers. Nothing suggests it does, and the single navigation and single cart argue against it, but it was not verified.
- Whether BytePe is in the channel catalogue by mistake. A device subscription retailer with no seller programme is not a sales channel, and the entry is worth confirming with whoever added it.
