Indian health-tech running the Aayu chemist network: no public seller or developer API, onboarding is through the Aayu Chemist app.

MedCords is an Indian health-tech company that connects consumers, local chemist stores and doctors through its Aayu family of apps. Its stated ambition is to reach 50 million families and 500,000 chemist stores. For commerce purposes MedCords is a pharmacy network and teleconsultation platform, not a general marketplace: the "seller" is a neighbourhood chemist who joins through the Aayu Chemist app, and the catalogue is medicine rather than brand-owned SKUs. There is no public developer portal, no seller API and no aggregator connector we could find.

What it is

MedCords operates three surfaces. Aayu is the consumer app for medicine delivery, doctor consultation and offers. Aayu Chemist is the pharmacy-side app that digitises a chemist store, takes orders from nearby Aayu users and is pitched as a way for an offline store to go online. Aayu Doctor lets verified doctors across a stated 35 or more specialties run consultations. The model is hyperlocal: an order placed in the consumer app is routed to a participating chemist who fulfils it locally, rather than shipped from a central warehouse.

That shape matters for anyone planning a connector. MedCords does not operate a listing marketplace where a brand uploads SKUs, sets a price and ships to customers. A brand's products reach MedCords users through the chemist's own stock, which the chemist procures through the normal pharmaceutical distribution trade. There is no channel account for a brand to connect.

API access

None found. The MedCords website exposes Home, About Us, a Products dropdown, Careers, Contact and a blog. There is no /developers, no /api, no partner tier and no integration marketplace. Product detail pages under /products/ returned HTTP 404 on the paths linked from the navigation when fetched on 2026-09-21, so even the marketing description of Aayu Chemist could not be read in full.

MedCords also does not appear in the published channel catalogues of the Indian order management aggregators. Unicommerce's integrations list, which covers marketplaces, quick commerce, storefronts and 3PLs, does not include MedCords or Aayu. That is a reliable negative signal: aggregators list any channel their customers ask for, so absence usually means no brand-side sales channel exists.

Warning

Any pharmacy order data here is health data about identified individuals. Even if an interface later appears, treat prescriptions, diagnoses and consultation notes as out of scope for a commerce database, and do not ingest them alongside orders.

Authentication

Not published. The Aayu Chemist app presumably authenticates a store with a phone number and one-time password, which is the standard Indian pattern, but this was not verified against any documentation and no token, header or endpoint is claimed here.

Objects we can read

No object is readable through a documented interface.

What is known to exist, from the product descriptions rather than from an API reference:

  • An order queue visible to the chemist inside the Aayu Chemist app.
  • A consultation record on the doctor side.
  • A consumer order history in the Aayu app.

None of these has a published export, report schedule or file drop. If a MedCords relationship ever needs to be loaded, the realistic first step is to ask whether the chemist app can export a CSV of orders, or whether MedCords will send a daily report by email, which is how comparable Indian pharmacy networks operate.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not available. There is no brand-facing catalogue. A chemist's stock, where it is digitised at all, is captured in the chemist app or in the store's existing billing software, and MedCords publishes nothing about integrating with Indian pharmacy billing packages such as Marg or Just Billing.

  • The product pages linked from the site navigation returned HTTP 404, so the Aayu Chemist feature list could not be read from a primary source. Everything above rests on the homepage copy.
  • Whether MedCords offers any B2B ordering or distributor interface to pharmaceutical companies is unknown.
  • Whether any export exists inside the chemist app is unknown.
  • Web search was unavailable for this page, so only direct page fetches back these findings. A funding announcement or API launch after the fetch date would not have been seen.
