AirXNetwork

AIRX Global, a US and India freight forwarder and cross-border fulfilment provider; no public API, and its customer portal returns 502.

AIRX Global, trading online as AirX Network, is a freight forwarder and cross-border logistics provider headquartered in New Jersey with offices in California and Gurgaon. It sells the full freight stack (air, ocean, rail and surface forwarding, customs clearance, dangerous goods handling, 4PL) alongside e-commerce fulfilment into Amazon FBA and Multi-Channel Fulfillment, and an express parcel service resold across FedEx, USPS, UPS, DTDC, Canada Post, Purolator and VIP Parcel. Its relevance to a commerce database is the India to United States trade lane: a seller shipping inventory into FBA or fulfilling US orders out of India may have AIRX in the chain. There is no public API, no developer portal, and the customer portal at app.airxnetwork.com returned HTTP 502 on every request made for this page.

Service catalogue, as listed on the site:

The site describes the shipment lifecycle in first, middle and last mile terms: doorstep pickup from business, warehouse or consumer; transport to warehouse by road or rail; warehousing; customs clearance for departure; transport by air or ocean; customs clearance at arrival; transport to warehouse or Amazon FBA/MCF; delivery to end customer, residential or commercial.

Carrier partners, named individually on the Partners page: FedEx Express, the United States Postal Service, UPS, DTDC India, VIP Parcel (described as "one of the only USPS Postal Qualified Wholesalers (PQW) in the country"), Canada Post and Purolator.

That partner list is the useful part for a connector: AIRX is a reseller, so the tracking numbers it produces will be FedEx, USPS, UPS, DTDC, Canada Post or Purolator waybills. If you already have first-party connectors for those carriers, you may be able to track an AIRX shipment directly on the underlying carrier without touching AIRX at all, provided AIRX gives you the tracking number and provided the account terms permit it. That is by far the cheapest integration path here and it is worth testing before asking AIRX for anything.

API access

None published. The specific checks:

  • docs.airxnetwork.com and api.airxnetwork.com do not resolve in DNS.
  • airxnetwork.com/sitemap.xml returns 404, so there is no page index.
  • The site navigation is Services, About, Partners, Contact, plus Login and a "Track Your Order" item. There is no Developers, API, Integrations or Documentation entry anywhere, and the footer Quick Links are About, Contact, FAQs, Services, Partners and Memberships.
  • The only application surface is https://app.airxnetwork.com/user/sign-in, linked from the header Login button. Every request to it returned 502 Bad Gateway from nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu). The host resolves and nginx is answering; the application behind it is not.
  • The site is a conventional server-rendered page with Swiper and Font Awesome from CDNs, and Cloudflare email obfuscation on the contact address. There is no front-end API client to inspect.
  • AIRX has no ClickPost carrier integration page (the ClickPost carrier index was enumerated from its sitemap, 428 carriers, no AIRX) and does not appear in Unicommerce's public integration list.

The route to any integration is therefore the commercial relationship: contact +1 (951) 507-5176 or the obfuscated address on the contact page, and ask what machine interface exists for booking, tracking and documentation. Given the freight forwarding side of the business, the honest expectation is that the answer is EDI or a flat-file exchange rather than REST, or nothing at all beyond the portal and email, which is still normal in freight forwarding.

Warning

The customer portal returning 502 is the most important operational fact on this page. It may be a transient outage, but combined with the absence of any API and an nginx version (1.18.0, the Ubuntu 20.04 package) that is several years old, it suggests the technology side is lightly maintained. Confirm the portal is reachable before planning any integration work.

Authentication

Not published. The portal at app.airxnetwork.com/user/sign-in is a human session login. No API credential model, token scheme, header or lifetime is documented anywhere.

Objects we can read

Nothing machine-readable. The site advertises a "Track Your Order" facility in the header, but it resolves to an in-page anchor rather than a tracking page, and the application host is down.

Orders, order items, products and listings, inventory

None. AIRX is a forwarder and a fulfilment provider, not a sales channel, and it publishes no catalogue or stock interface. Note that the warehousing service means AIRX may physically hold a seller's stock, so an inventory surface should exist internally; nothing about it is published.

Shipments and tracking

The object that matters, and nothing is published about it. What a shipment record must contain, given the service catalogue, and therefore what to ask for:

  • the AIRX booking reference and the underlying carrier waybill, with the carrier identified as one of FedEx, USPS, UPS, DTDC, Canada Post, Purolator or VIP Parcel
  • the mode (air, ocean, rail, surface, express) and service level
  • origin and destination, and for freight the port pair and the incoterm
  • container and consolidation details for ocean (LCL, FCL)
  • customs clearance milestones at departure and arrival, which on a cross-border lane are the events that actually explain delay
  • proof of delivery
  • chargeable weight, and for air and ocean the volumetric calculation that produced it

Returns and cancellations

Not mentioned anywhere on the site.

Payments and settlements

Not published. No rate card, no fuel or security surcharge schedule, no invoice surface. Pricing is by quote ("GET A QUOTE", "Let's discuss your supply chain needs").

Customers

Not exposed.

Locations

Three offices are published (NJ, CA, Gurgaon) plus "a global network of strategic partner hubs". No warehouse list, no facility addresses and no serviceability data.

Writing back: listings, price and stock

Not applicable, this is a carrier and freight forwarder. AIRX owns no listing, price or stock that a buyer sees, so there is nothing to write back in the marketplace sense.

The write path on a platform of this kind is booking creation and cancellation: request a quote, confirm a booking, generate the house waybill and the commercial documents, book pickup, and cancel. On the express side it would be a straightforward parcel create with a label. None of it is published, and with the portal returning 502 there is nothing to exercise.

For a cross-border forwarder the document set is as important as the shipment: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading or air waybill, and the export and import declarations. Ask how those are submitted and retrieved, because on this kind of lane document handling is usually the real integration, not tracking.

Webhooks and notifications

Not published. No event catalogue, no subscription mechanism, no signature scheme.

If an integration is granted and push is not offered, poll the underlying carrier rather than AIRX wherever possible: FedEx, UPS, USPS, Canada Post and Purolator all have first-party tracking APIs, and a FedEx waybill booked through AIRX is still a FedEx waybill. For the freight legs, where there is no parcel-style scan stream, a daily pull of milestone status is the realistic cadence, because ocean and air freight milestones move on a scale of days, not minutes.

Rate limits and pagination

Not applicable. No API exists to limit or paginate.

Mapping to the unified model

Only shipments is in scope, and it cannot be filled today. The table below is the target shape to request; every right-hand entry is unverified.

orders, order_items, listings, returns, settlements and customers are out of scope. inventory and locations would come into scope if the warehousing service is used, but nothing is published.

Gaps and open questions

  • Does any machine interface exist? Nothing public says yes or no. For a forwarder at this scale the plausible answers are a customer portal only, an EDI or flat-file exchange for large accounts, or a private REST API. Ask directly.
  • The portal is returning 502. Whether that is transient or persistent could not be determined from a single research pass, but it is the first thing to check before any planning.
  • The express legs may be trackable without AIRX at all. If AIRX hands over FedEx, UPS, USPS, DTDC, Canada Post or Purolator waybill numbers, a first-party carrier connector can track them directly. Confirm that the waybill numbers are shared and that the account terms allow it. This is the highest-value question on the page.
  • Two very different shipment shapes. Parcel express and ocean or air freight do not share a data model, a status vocabulary or a timescale. Any AIRX connector has to handle both, and forcing them into one shipments row will lose the freight milestones that matter.
  • Warehousing implies inventory. AIRX stores goods for B2C and B2B clients. If a seller uses that service, per-location stock exists inside AIRX and is invisible.
  • No entity or registration details published. The trading name on the site is AIRX Global; no corporate registration, incorporation or ownership information appears.
  • No aggregator route. No ClickPost carrier page, no Unicommerce listing, so there is no indirect path to the data either.
  • Web search was unavailable for this research pass. The checks were direct: DNS, HTTP, the site's own pages, sitemaps and aggregator directories.
